PRODUCTION EXPERIENCE
Throughout my time at Baylor University, I had the privilege of being a part of several mainstage productions. Each experience offer new and engaging challenges that enabled me to gain a greater understanding of the theatrical world and develop useful skills.

As Assistant to the Costume Designer, I worked closely with Lead Costume Designer Lloyd Cracknell and helped to translate his vision into reality. The process involved researching the 1980s and seeking pieces that embodied a southern rural town. In addition to that, I worked to develop a unique logo for the iconic Burger Blast.
As Wardrobe Head, I curated detailed paperwork for tracking pieces and run sheets for actors. As the only member of the wardrobe crew, I worked diligently to ensure a smooth run and facilitated several quick changes. I also handled costume upkeep and care.

Assistant to the Costume Designer, Sara Mosher, I dived into the late 1930s pre-WWII era, specifically focusing on the setting of a radio show. Once again I helped with pulling pieces that adhere to the renderings. I also was tasked with compiling a hair and makeup profile for each character.
Being the Wardrobe Head for this production also included creating detailed paperwork for the pieces. However, I faced the unique challenges of working under pandemic conditions that led to creative workarounds to ensure a smooth performance.

With Sally Askins as the Lead Costume Designer, I learned the skills necessary to be an Assistant to the Designer. Communication and organization were paramount as the process progressed. I was introduced to the challenges of pulling, buying, and making costume pieces.
For my first time as a Wardrobe Head, I learned how to efficiently manage a team of individuals. We worked together to track pieces and facilitate several quick changes. Additionally, I was required to construct several different types of necessary paperwork.
